Kindle Girl here, and you guys… I am absolutely dying over this one. Kicking, screaming, and seriously contemplating rereading this book every week for the rest of my life. Actually obsessed.

If you want to keep living in the Harry Potter universe but can’t handle the dark, broody fanfics, THIS is your dream come true. Don’t get me wrong – I also love said dark, broody, HP fanfics. But this was just something heartwarming, and FUN. It’s the perfect continuation of the HP world, with a little more adult charm. Slow burn, seriously gorgeous character development, and you’ll be rooting for these characters from page one.

The entire book is in the MMC’s POV, and I was a little nervous about how my brain would handle that. But, let me tell you… IT WORKED. It was hot, ACTUALLY laugh-out-loud funny, and completely delicious from start to end. Were there plot holes and HP inconsistencies? Sure, I can admit that. Did I care? Maybe for like… the first chapter. After that? Couldn’t have cared less.

There was out of country magical travel, forced proximity with realistic self control, and ADULT conversations. It’s Harry Potter for the early 30’s gal who’s just getting back into reading.

This book gave me EVERYTHING I wanted – I don’t know when I’ve smiled/giggled/sighed-out-loud this much reading a book. Oh, and being able to call it DM & TMoobil? Literally the funniest thing ever. You’re welcome.
